TESTIMONIALS:
“Jessie is a dynamic and thoughtful teacher, often preparing hours and days before our classes in response to what we (her students) needed or wanted from our sessions. She is playful, energetic and spirit-minded, which helped our classes become a cohesive unit.
I found myself never wanting to miss a session. Her work and sessions allowed me to have an amazing skiing, biking and running season, progressing from fall into winter injury free and stamina-laden. Jessie loves life, respects the body and our practice, which shines through in every session. She and her classes are dearly missed here in Florissant.” –Terry Hayden
“Jessie is an excellent yoga instructor. Her classes inspired and challenged me both in yoga practice and outside of class. Her dedication shines through in her teaching. Jessie always models poses, shows different variations for different poses for students at different levels, and checks in to make sure you are getting the most out of each pose. I greatly appreciated her hands on approach. Her style of teaching is so comfortable and relaxed, no pressure, just meets you where you are each day. I feel such a sense of peace when I leave class and have been able to use the breathing techniques and guided meditations that she teaches. She truly looks at the whole person and whole practice and I have only the highest recommendation to give.” –Elizabeth Rundle
“Truly cathartic; the highlight of my week; I wish you were still here teaching!” –Maren MacDonald
“I really appreciated how Jessie would take the time to walk around and physically move our bodies to the proper positions. They gave me ahhaa moments, like Wow, this is how it should be and feel. Not all instructors that I’ve had make this extra effort.” –Rob Jolly
“I had not taken a yoga class before, and was slightly anxious about what we would be doing, did I need to know any poses before class? Did I need to be more flexible? Was I going to be able to do anything? Jessie was extremely patient and helpful. If I wasn’t doing a pose right, she would encourage and gently correct my position. She made everyone, no matter what their ability, feel like they were doing a great job. Jessie was able to adapt poses to meet people’s abilities and give them props to make things easier or more challenging. “ –Ashley McGowan
“I haven’t felt this relaxed in … forever.” –6th grade outdoor education student
“Jessie has the unique ability of giving energy to her class while engendering a calm, centered focus for the self. She is keenly aware of each student’s body and alignment and gives helpful, insightful, and creative (especially for beginners or injuries) adjustments and modifications. I always leave her classes feeling centered and optimistic.” –Mimi
“I wish every yoga enthusiast the chance to grow in their practice with Jessie! The variety of poses and flows in her teaching reflect her ability to be intuitive and concentrate energy where it is most needed! In my personal experience Jessie’s calming instructions enhanced strength and flexibility of muscles. However, I am most grateful for strength and flexibility of the mind and soul I received not only from her yoga teachings but from getting to know this amazing individual! Jessie is devoted to healing and happiness! Everyone needs more of that!” –Heidi
